Partnerships and Engagement Director. (Director - Partnerships & Engagement, Energy Estate)

In the rapidly evolving energy landscape, Rosie champions the importance of First Nations peoples playing a key role in, and harnessing the opportunities from, the renewable energy’sacceleration. As the lead for Energy Estate on partnerships with  First Nations, community and other stakeholders , she leverages her extensive experience in navigating the criticalrelationship between developers, investors, government, industry and the community.

Rosie is adept at establishing and maintaining positive and direct relationships with stakeholders, even when objectives and desired outcomes are not aligned. She understands theimportance of successful integration of large scale projects into the local landscape. She works tirelessly to ensure that real, enduring and measurable benefits cascade into thecommunities local to the projects being developed.Rosie has led the First Nations, community & stakeholder engagement programs for the Renew Estate portfolio including the Bomen,Rodds Bay and Springdale solar farms and the Walcha Energy Project. Her passion is for ensuring that a project optimises environmental, social and economic benefits, including local employment, skills development and recognition of cultural values for the First Nations and host communities.

Rosie has a law degree from Victoria University of Wellington and has led in employee relations teams at Nike and Royal Mail.
