Haylee started her career working as a Wellsite Geologist on coal seam gas exploration wells in the Bowen Basin, Australia. Completing rapid drilling programmes and keeping goodrecords of the drilled geology was an oil and gas career highlight. More recently she has transitioned into the renewable energy sector and working for Elemental Group has offered several career highlights, diversifying her skill sets leading to contributing GIS analysis to New Zealand onshore and offshore renewable projects along with GIS mappingfor all Kākāriki projects. This has enabled Haylee to become a key part of the development team.

As a contributor to New Zealand’s decarbonisation effort I bring awareness about climate change and the importance of decarbonisation along with advocating for sustainable practices within the community and workplace. I can provide solutions by research and development in renewable energy practices,and educate others about energy efficiency, carbon footprint reduction and sustainable living. I look forward to collaborating on projects that reduce emissions and enhance resilience.

Haylee graduated from the Otago University with a Bachelor of Science in Geology minor in Geography.
