Alex has over 10 years of experience as an Environmental Scientist, working in both the UK and New Zealand. Alex’s career includes significant roles at Elemental Group Ltd,Taranaki Regional Council, BTW Company and the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA).

At Elemental Group Ltd, Alex has written Environmental Safeguard and Impact Assessment (ESIA) for water and wastewater infrastructure, building upon her experience in PSI report writing for contaminated land and air monitoring projects for BTW Company. Alex took charge of the Taranaki Regional Council’s State of Environment monitoring programmes, including state and trend analyses for freshwater, marine, air and soil in the Taranaki region.

Alex’s background in environmental monitoring and compliance, combined with her enthusiasm and self-motivation, positions her to effectively contribute to the accelerateddecarbonisation efforts in New Zealand. Alex’s ability to manage diverse environmental projects and her commitment to sustainable practices will be invaluable in planning andexecuting our renewable energy initiatives. Alexandria holds a BSc Honours Degree in Environmental Geosciences from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Managing Environmental Change from the University of StAndrews.
